ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT: The Hunter 410 provides comfort, convenience, and utility. Space below is abundant. There is a generous private suite forward with a full head and shower at the bow and a large Pullman berth to starboard. Several hatches and ports keep the salon bright, airy, and well ventilated, showing off the Eucalyptus Green Leather cushions in the main cabin. The nav station houses all of the electric controls as well as an abundance of space for the electronics. The owner’s cabin is aft. It has both a port and starboard entrance and a large athwartships berth. GALLEY: The full-service galley on “Windependent”consists of a versatile Adler Barber top and front loading refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. The galley is functionally equipped with hot/cold pressure water, Goldstar microwave, a Princess LPG three burner gimbaled stove with oven, dish racks, a built-in waste bin, and dual stainless sinks. Beautiful Corian countertops and plenty of storage space accentuate the interior beauty and comfort of this sailboat. Fresh water tank is 145 gallons. HEAD(S): The forward head is located at the forepeak which provides for good separation from the main cabin and plenty of privacy in the forward suite. The aft head features a separate shower stall and has entrances from the main cabin area and the aft cabin. ELECTRONICS AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT: Electronic equipment includes a Uniden Solara DSC VHF at the nav station, Raymarine Ray 48 VHF in cockpit, Dantenna masthead TV antenna, JVC KD S360 Stereo/CD at the nav station, Garmin 2006C GPS at the helm station, Autohelm multi and Nav Data repeaters at the nav station, Autohelm ST7000 autopilot with control at the helm station, Autohelm ST-60 wind instrument at the helm, and Autohelm tri-data(knot/depth/log) at the helm. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: “Windependent’s” electrical system consists of a Heart 1 interface Freedom 10 inverter mounted under the port settee in the main cabin and a Link 10 battery monitor. SAILS & RIGGING: Sails include the main with Hunter stack pack system with sail cover, standard jib on a Pro-furl roller system, cruising spinnaker, a Lewmar self tailing 44 electric halyard winch on cabin top, two Lewmar self tailing 48 cabin top jib sheet winches, two Lewmar self tailing 48 coaming mounted winches for spinnaker sheet handling. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT & ENGINE DETAILS: The engine is a 50 HP diesel with 2,250 hours showing on the hour meter. “Windependent” has a flex-o-fold propeller and a Wema water, fuel, and waste tank monitoring system at the nav station. Marine Air dual zone air conditioning heat pump systems (16K forward, 10K aft) will keep the temperature perfect. SAFETY EQUIPMENT: This boat is equipped with the required USCG safety equipment and a Supermax anchor. CANVAS AND OTHER MISC: Extra canvas includes a custom dodger, bimini, sun flaps, plastic enclosures, and a connecting bridge. Other extras include a 1999, 9’ 2” Seaworthy dinghy with roll up floor (NS3.5A 309-1 Serial# 85971) and a Nissan 3.5 outboard motor, custom Bottomsider cockpit cushions, stern rail seat cushions and back rests, companionway screening, two large canvas covered fenders, Boatswain’s chair, Horse Shoe life ring, Simpson Lawrence anchor windlass, and anchor washdown. COMMENTS: “Windependent” has had excellent care by its only owners since new. It is nicely equipped to provide years of comfort and fun for its next owner!
