The master stateroom is forward with a walkaround queen size bed (new mattresses throughout in 2002), his and her wardrobes and dressers.   The roomy private head adjoins the master stateroom and is equipped with a lavatory, molded stall shower, vanity cabinet with simulated marble counter and convenient storage.

The guest stateroom has crossed over and under berths with ample drawer and hanging storage.  A private entrance door to the second head which also has a lavatory, stall shower and vanity with sink provides guests with deisred privacy.

The second head is also accessible from the companionway for convenient day use.  In the companionway, space has been provided for the washer/dryer unit.

Ideal for entertaining, the salon provides room for new custom leather couches (with rod storage racks below), new Berber carpeting (2005), new custom levolor blinds (2004) and an occassional chair.

Easily accessible electric panesl are hidden from view behind wood doors.  The entertainment center is behind the windowless forward area and is enclosed by tambour sliding doors.  Enclosed is a 20" RCA TV/DVD/VHF player with surround sound.  There also is a Clarion stereo system on the flybridge.

The galley was updated in 2002 and has a new granite breakfast countertop, new microwave, new icemaker and a sub-zero refrigerator (she has 2 under counter units).

Most of the electronics were replaced in 2002/2004.

In 2002, she received a Furuno 72 mile radar with a 6' array, Northstar 952 chart plotter (updated 2005), ICOM VHF radio, F30 speed log, Clarion stereo with Bose speakers, KVH satellite TV antenna.

In 2004, she was equipped with an ICOM SSB radio and a Simrad AT35 autopilot.  She also has a Furuno 262 depth finder and a F30 depth finder.

She is equipped with a 2002 Panda 16kW generator with 1600 hours, 12 volt DC ships power, 30 amp, 50 amp, 110/220 volt AC dock power and a battery charger.

The hull and decks are fiberglass and have non-skid surfaces where appropriate.  Other equipment includes a Good windlass automatic with 30' of chain and 1000' of l/1" line and a 40lb. Danforth type anchor.  She has an Avon auto-launch 8-person life raft and a 406 MH EPIRB on the bow.

The cockpit is massive and has a refrigerated 2000 quart fish box, a custom fighting chair with rocket launcher, a set of 37' Rupp outriggers with center teaser pole and sea water and fresh water washdonws in the cockpit.

The flybridge has a custom fiberglass hardtop (2002) with built-in lighting and a Strata glass enclosure.  There are 2 converters on the bridge for AC power.

She has a custom console with all new gauges and wiring (2002) and a new vinyl on the bench seating area.

Twin 2002 M.A.N. 1050hp diesels warranted thru August, 2007.

New ZF gears with trolling valves, new 3/4" shafts with custom struts, dripless stuffing boxes and new 5-blade props.  The exhaust system was custom designed (enlarged) and rerouted to the transom in 2002.  All the wiring in the engine room and helm was also replaced in 2002.   This was a first class installation done by professionals.

This is the ultimate custom Hatteras sportfish.  The current owner loved his 48 Hat, but he had a wish list to make it the perfect fighting machine.

The first thing he did was have Jack Hargrave design a 4' extension on the cockpit in 1998.  Then, in 2002, he installed NEW 1050hp M.A.N. diesels (warranty thru August, 2007) with ZF gears (w/trolling valves), shafts, props, dripless stuffing boxes, a new generator and had the hull painted Palm Beach yellow along with many interior improvements.  He has invested over $620,000 to make this the best custom 52 available.

He is now looking for someone who will appreciate her as much as he has.
