61' Hatteras features the standard 61' Hatteras layout with the galley up. She sleeps eight in four staterooms, each with private head and shower (full tub in Master). The full-width Master suite is located down and aft with an island king. The 1st Guest Stateroom has side-by-side twins, while the 2nd Guest Stateroom has cross over bunks. The 3rd Guest/Crew Stateroom has offset bunks. An Office is located opposite the 2nd Guest Stateroom. The Main Deck is divided into four sections: the pilothouse is forward with wing doors to port and starboard. Next, aft is the separate galley and dinette area, followed by the full-width salon then through the sliding glass doors to the aft deck line handling area. The Flybridge is accessed from the Pilothouse. A very attractive wet bar was designed for the Flybridge and provides a gathering place seldom found on yachts of less than 70'.
The current owner has replaced or rebuilt all the major systems on the yacht over the past 5 years. The entire vessel was repainted in 2002 by Roger Lozier at Owl Creek Boatworks.
