Introduction SANDPIPER is one of the most popular tournament convertibles models ever produced. She has undergone a major exterior facelift that includes a new custom fishbox and livewell in the transom, a new Pipewelders half tower with overhead electronics box, custom flybridge ladder, glassed in forward windshield, bow rails removed to give the boat a "Carolina look", and full awlgrip paint job. She is a two stateroom, two head layout with a down galley. Her large salon features a large sofa and a dinette area as well. The hull is built on a single chine design, with a deep, full-length keel and modest transom deadrise, allowing this boat to cruise efficiently at 19-20 knots at 2100 RPM and burn only 30 gallon / hour. Just a comfortable cruising and fishing boat.
Accommodations The master cabin is amidships to port and features twin berths with storage drawer beneath and a hanging closet. The ensuite head includes a large enclosed stall shower, sink, and electric head. The forward cabin has an upper and lower berth, and also has a separate head with enclosed shower.
Galley The galley is down and contains a full size refrigerator, three burner stove with oven, and S/S sink.
Salon The large salon has a sofa to port and an L-shaped dinette to starboard. This model has access to the engine room is via a hatch opening in the salon sole. The forward windshield has been glassed in which is a real plus. The entertainment is forward in the salon and features a Kenwood Sirius stereo and a new flat screen TV.
Cockpit The cockpit features a new custom built-in fishbox and livewell in the transom. She has an 80# Release Marine fighting chair, Rupp outriggers, rod holders on the flybridge rail and in the coverboards. The tackle center has a sink and storage.
Flybridge The flybridge features a new Pipewelders half tower with 3-sided enclosure, cockpit spreader lights, new flybridge cushions, and remote controlled spotlight. The overhead electronics cabinet contains:
