VESSEL WALKTHROUGH: "Ixchel" was originally a Hatteras 58' Yachtfish, and completely reconfigured and refurbished in 1996. A 9' cockpit and hull extension was added with an integral hydraulic swim platform. A new, wider, and longer flybridge was added and the interior reconfigured to incorporate a full beam engineroom and two very large owner stateroom, each with its own head. All systems and equipment new in 1996, and a complete Sterling paint job was applied to exterior. Extra large (1300 gal) fuel capacity and extensive equipment list gives "Ixchel" extended range and cruising capabilities. Owner's change in plans makes this highly customized Hatteras available for sale.
MASTER STATEROOM: The master stateroom aft was enlarged and remodeled to make a very large and comfortable stateroom. A Queen island berth is located centerline. Storage cabinets and an entertainment center are located along the starboard side and has a TV/VCR and stereo system. To port is a settee and vanity. The master stateroom is all cherrywood with custom headliner, a skylight, and two (2) large hatches for light and ventilation. Ensuite head has a stall shower, sink vanity, and Raritan Crown head. Berber carpet and custom lighting complete the décor of the master stateroom.
GUEST STATEROOM: The guest stateroom has two (2) twin berths and a large hanging locker. There is storage under the berth, a storage cabinet, and book shelf along the hullside. White wall coverings and berber carpet make this stateroom big and open. A TV is installed on a corner shelf. A separate head with stall shower, sink vanity, and Raritan Crown head is located across the companionway from the guest stateroom.
SALON: The salon has been enlarged by removing the lower helm station and adding storage cabinets and an entertainment center. Salon is paneled in oak with solid side windows and berber carpet. A built in lounge along the starboard and port sides of the salon offers plenty of seating area with two (2) wing doors to the large aft deck. The upper deck is accessed through the companionway, up a spiral staircase.

NAVIGATION STATION: Robertson AP 300 autopilot, ICOM 600 SSB radio, 4 antennas, Datamarine Combi depth sounder, Datamarine combi speed indicator, 48 mile color radar, Standard Constellation compass, Datamarine GPS chart plotter, Datamarine wind speed indicator The flybridge is huge and runs the full length and width of the top deck. The helm station forward has a Lee helm chair and bench seating port and starboard. Electronics are all flush mounted in the raised helm area. A fiberglass hard top covers the forward half of the flybridge and has a radar must on the hardtop. A removable clear plexi windshield is in front of the helm and isinglass enclosures for both sides. Just aft of the hardtop, a custom fiberglass box houses the hard bottom inflatable; and electric dinghy davit is on port side. A aft flybridge control station is located at the aft end of the flybridge.

A long bench seat with cushions runs along the back of the aft deck and with the aft deck table and four deck chairs has room for dinning.
COCKPIT: The cockpit is very large with lots of storage. A custom hydraulic swim platform raises and lowers into the water for diving. Dive tank storage and additional storage is in the rear wings of the cockpit. A water tight hatch is located on the cockpit deck for access down to lazarette.
