Accommodations "GladHavn" is a live aboard Long Range Cruiser/Trawler style motor yacht with many recent upgrades and mechanically ready to go cruising after you finish the interior refit to your style and taste. The current owner has a major refit in process, and has put his emphasis and investment into the mechanicals; before a change of plans (and winter), leaves only some cosmetics, including some interior varnish work, installation of headliners (materials conveyed with the sale), and new softgoods, remaining to be done by her next owner.
She has a fully Air Conditioned/Heated interior with two spacious staterooms, two heads, forward with shower and Master aft with tub and shower. Powered by twin Perkins 6.354 fuel-efficient diesels with 2,200 hours, recent upgrades include extended oil filtration, stainless exhaust manifolds, stainless exhaust elbows (ready to be installed), rebuilt starters and alternators, rebuilt water pumps with spare. The 15KW Onan Generator has received the same level of lovingly care and upgrading by this knowledgeable and experienced owner. All shorepower inlets and wiring to the main panels were recently replaced and a 2500W Inverter with three 8D batteries new in 2006. Shafts have dripless packing glands with line cutters. Five bronze seacock fittings have recently been replaced and all others are working fine. New spare Seacocks are on the boat.
The layout features a large salon with a lower helm, a well-equipped galley down, with large staterooms with heads and showers fore and aft.
The large Bridge with a hardtop has excellent visibility and is easily accessed from the aft covered Sundeck with crane and dinghy chocks above. Her 500 gallon fuel capacity provides a range of approximately 1,000 miles or more.
Electronics have recently been updated with two Furuno Navnet 10.4" Color multi-function GPS/Radar Displays with C-Map, displaying depth with bottom mapping, speed, water temperature, and 4' open radar array.
Sisterships of this sought-after Gulfstar model are selling for $50,000 to $100,000 more than you can purchase "GladHavn." With the exception of the cost of softgoods, a few cans of varnish and stain, add a few weeks of your labor and you'll have a yacht that will be ready to go cruising in style, comfort and safety.
