Accommodations Accommodations for the owners party in two very large and spacious staterooms with two additional berths for crew, all with ensuite baths.
The master stateroom is on the upper deck, behind the wheelhouse, with full king island berth, in a large, bright and airy area. It should be noted, this wonderful area includes large windows for light and ventilation, and access to a private upper deck area. Just forward is a large master head, and dressing area with large hanging lockers both cedar lined, along with numerous drawers provide wonderful storage.
The guest stateroom is on the main deck area, just below the wheelhouse and forward of the salon. Presently being used as the owner's den, this area provides room for a queen bed and being on the main deck is airy as well.
The Main Salon is aft on the main deck with access to a huge aft deck, via double doors. The salon and galley, just forward encompass the entire aft half of the yacht. During her extensive refit in 1998 to 99, these areas were totally redone, the Salon with a built in U-shaped bar with seating for five in a traditional Irish style. The salon also contains a large L-shaped leather couch, folding coffee table that will seat ten, and additional leather chairs arranged around the salon.
On the starboard side, is an entertainment center, with 42' Flat Panel TV by Sony that retracts into the cabinet. A Hearthstone gas fireplace in the aft starboard corner creates a charming environment during chilly Maine summer evenings.
The salon floor is broad planked in 100 year old pine from a barn in Maine.
The Galley, as you might expect is well equipped including Age propane stove with electric oven, SubZero 700 Series refrigerator and freezer, Miele dishwasher and DeLonghi convection oven. A complete set of kitchen utensils, pots and pans are included.
Continuing forward, a Day Head is located up a couple of stairs and adjacent to the Den/Stateroom.
Pilothouse is quite large and located forward of the master suite. Superb 360 degree visibility, with Freeman doors on each side and a Portuguese bridge. Wing controls are on both sides. The pilothouse features Stidd chair, and large U-Shaped settee, which can be converted to a pilot berth.
Crew quarters are forward, accessed from the fore deck or from the cargo room. Excellent and spacious with a nice crew lounge.
Engine room, this area is easily the largest we have ever seen on a 65 foot yacht. Broken into two separate areas, with full head room and superbly organized. The vast majority of the equipment was replaced during her refit, including the Caterpillar 3208's.
The Main deck area deserves a special mention, with RED HEAD'S wide body configuration there are two large hydraulic cargo doors on the foredeck that open to 11 feet by 9 feet, which allows room for three full size motorcycles or a small car.
