| -- DESCRIPTION -- | "Little Wind" joins the four other"Flicka's"currently offered on YachtWorld, with the distinction of being the only one in the deep south.
This legendary Bruce Bingham design is the quintessential singlehanders dream boat. She is built & designed for the rough weather sailing of the U.S.Eastern seaboard and she handles it with no problem.
This little lady the sports a masthead cutter rig and in keeping in the tradition, she has hank on "Tan Bark" sails. Owner is ready to move up to accommondate his growing family. Offers encouraged | | Accommodations | Entering through the companionway you will immediately notice the standing headroom, a rarity in a vessel of this size. Aft & to port is the pilot berth with tankage and storage below. On starboard is a wet locker that can be converted with the addition of a precut shelf, moving forward to starboard is a settee which makes into a very ample single berth, with good storage beneath.
To port is the galley, including a stainless steel sink and fresh water hand pump. The counter space is small, but adequate. There is plenty of storage in the galley area for food stuffs in areas below the sinks. The ice locker is of a formidable size and easy access. The vee berth serves a two fold purpose of settees for the fold up table, and of course as a sleeping area, which we might add is very comfy for two adults. There is even a locking book shelve to secure valuables.
| | Galley | Two burner alcohol stove, stainless steel sink, large built in ice box, and fresh water hand pump
| | Electronics | VHF radio, autohelm 3000, Plastrend 4"compass, Horizon KM,DS,
| | Electrical | Heart 750 Watt inverter, 110v power/cord
| | Mechanical Equipment & Engine Details | 9.9hp, 4 stroke outboard Yamaha with electric start and cockpit controls.
| | Remarks | From the prespective of a very old "Sea Dog" this vessel would be ideal for a new sailor, being mindful that a novice may never out grow this "Little Wind".
