The Egg Harbor 36 Sedan is a classic convertible that features styling, quality, and maneuverability. They don't build them like this anymore. When you step aboard to a mahogany trimmed cockpit with teak deck you know this boat is special. The current owners use this area as an outdoor living area with cockpit lounge, LED lighting, and Magma grill. At the same time the outriggers indicate that a few lines have been cast and fresh fish brought aboard. A cockpit awning provides shade when needed.
When you climb the ladder to the bridge you find a large flybridge with wood trimmed helm station forward center. The swivel captain's chair sits in front of the expansive console with stainless steel wheel. The helm station features Furuno Radar, Raymarine Autopilot, Garmin GPS, Sitex Depth Finder, and Marine VHF Radio. Back-to-back companion lounges are located on both sides of the bridge. A beige bimini with full side curtains protects the bridge from sun and weather.
Below is a large, mahogany trimmed, carpeted salon. As you enter through from the cockpit there is a settee to your right and entertainment center to your left with flat screen TV and audio/video system. This is the style salon that many manufacturers attempt to emulate with wood trim. There is a cozy comfort that woods like mahogany provide. If you can't relax here you may need professional help. The newly refitted galley is port side with refrigerator/freezer, 3-burner stove with oven, rotisserie, microwave, and stainless steel sink. Across and down from the galley is a large wraparound dinette that is made for dining and entertaining. Again, without overstating it; this salon, along with the galley and dinette, is simply comfortable. It has an "at home" feel. The enclosed head has vanity and separate shower. The forward stateroom has upper and lower berths, hanging locker and storage.
Nettie Rose is powered by new twin 454 Mercruiser engines, 7.4L, 330hp, with only 68 hours. She will cruise at 22-25 knots. Comfort and convenience are provided by a new Mase 8.5kW diesel generator, two new Cruise Air AC units, a Mermaid AC unit, and a new stainless steel continuous heat water heater and new 40'' flat screen TV.
