There are nine stowage bins, with flat bottoms and plywood covers, under the cushions. Seating in the “main saloon” is in either the “Throne” or the “Mary Brown Step-Seat”. Headroom is 48”, but with the main hatch open (which opens over all but the forward few inches of this area) the headroom is virtually infinite. Stove, icebox and sink are complimented with counters on port and starboard. Heat is via the cast-iron cabin heater (burns either wood or charcoal), which both warms and dries the cabin’s interior. The nearly-eight-foot-long cockpit extends the full width of the boat, with bulwarks high enough to lean comfortably against. Call BOB FONTAINE.
