General Comments This is a beautifully upgraded Dynamique 62, originally designed by Philippe Briand as a Maxi race winner and further modified for optimal performance, comfort, handling and beauty. Significant improvements include a 2' scoop transom producing a Length Overall of 64', and a winged keel with modifications to both keel and rudder. Performance is further enhanced by an Autoprop 3-blade folding/feathering propeller. All-in-all, the yacht has been improved to sail faster, look better, and optimize her bluewater capabilities. Rigging hardware and sail inventory have been upgraded, as well. Powered winches and state-of-the-art airblocks allow for short handed sailing. Great electronics inventory includes an INOX 9x6 instrument carrier. The tastefully remodeled salon enhances the living environment and is ideal for entertaining. Fall 2003 refit includes: Diesel tanks taken out, inspected and rewelded; new alternator, mounted and rewired; rig inspected, 500 feet of running rigging replaced; 150 feet of 1/2 inch anchor chain replaced; portside topsides Awlgrip sprayed. This fabulous racer cruiser is now enroute to Europe and ready for new adventures.
Accomodation Sleeps 10 in 4 double cabins, each with en-suite head, and salon. The bow holds the chain and garbage lockers, designed as collision absorbers, followed by a generous sail locker which is accessible from deck only and partitioned from the inside of the yacht by a waterproof bulkhead. Foremost is the master cabin's private head with double sinks, large mirror, WC/shower, followed by the master stateroom with folding table settee and plenty of storage lockers. Next aft, a corridor separates the starboard stateroom and the portside cabin. Follow the corridor aft into the sumptuous salon with seating for 10 plus a separate bar, which seats 4. The bar table lowers to create an additional double berth. The generous galley is to port, followed by the aft cabin with 3 berths. To starboard is the navigation and walk-in work/engine room. The interior is furnished in Burma teak, Heatshield-insulated, fully air-conditioned, with halogen and LED lighting. Headroom is over 7 feet throughout. The lazarette is accessible from the outside only via 3 lockers.
