The Durbeck D-46 Ketch is a true blue water cruiser. She has the size, accommodations, and comfort to take you anywhere.
There are two staterooms. The forward stateroom has v-berth and head compartment with sink, head, and shower. The aft stateroom has twin berths and head compartment with sink, head, and shower. The salon features facing settees with a folding teak dining table that can accommodate six people. The full service galley, recently fitted with beautiful Corian countertops, is starboard with a Princess three-burner range with oven, microwave oven, Grunert refrigerator, Grunert freezer, and stainless steel double sink. Opposite the galley is a navigation station with Raytheon Loran, Titan VHF radio, Garmin chartplotter, Raytheon radar, compass, SSB, and ACR EPIRB. There is ample room with private staterooms for weekend getaways or extended cruises.
On deck we have a large center cockpit with enclosure, pedestal helm with hydraulic steering, teak grates. Electronics include: Robertson autopilot, Signet depth sounder and speed & distance log. Flat decks allow easy movement. Sails & rigging include: Dacron jib, Dacron main sail, Dacron mizzen, Dacron staysail, stainless steel standing rigging, manual boom vang, Woolsey self-tailing winch, and kee-stepped aluminum mast. There's a bow pulpit with CQR anchor and Simpson Lawrence windlass. Additional equipment includes Avon ?E? pack, six-man life raft, a 35# anchor, and a 45# anchor. Included is a Boston Whaler dinghy with varnished oars and a new Mercury 6-hp outboard motor.
Auxiliary power is provided by a Westerbeke 70-hp diesel engine with Paragon transmission. There?s Electrasan waste treatment, a fresh water system with water heater, Halon automatic fire suppression, 30-amp shore power, and 3.5kW Honda generator.
