Vessel Walkthrough This Dufour 40 has the three cabin one head layout. Starting forward is the master cabin which has a double situated to port and opposite to starboard is an upholstered settee forward and large hanging locker aft. There is storage forward with two hanging lockers, shelving units above the berth and settee to outboard and there is additional storage beneath the berth. Next aft of the forward cabin is the main salon. To port is the large U-shaped settee which surrounds the folding teak dining table and to starboard is an upholstered bench settee. There is plenty of storage in the main salon with two lockers and a shelving unit above both the settees and storage below the settees. The forward facing navigation station is located aft of the starboard settee and has an upholstered seat and flip lid chart table. The navigation equipment is located above the chart table to outboard. There is a storage locker beneath the chart table. The good-sized head unit is located aft of the navigation station. The sink, shower head and vanity mirror are located forward with a locker beneath the sink. The head is aft. The L-shaped galley is located opposite the head. The stainless steel twin sinks, refrigeration unit and worktop space forward and to outboard is the stove and worktop space. There is plenty of storage in the galley with lockers below the worktops and above the worktops to outboard. Most aft are the two aft cabins entered either side of the companionway. Both cabins have double berths aft and hanging lockers forward to outboard. There is additional storage beneath the berths.
