| This is one of the larger versions of the typical Dutch or North Sea Fishing Trawlers. It is heavily constructed in steel to withstand and continue operating in the tough North Sea and North Atlantic fishing grounds. Its high whaleback style bow and aft superstructure are perfectly suited for heavy and rough seas. The 2000 hp Deutz diesel main engine is an extremely powerful high torque slow turning model and was a new installation in 1992. Its enormous fuel tankages translate to tremendous range and self sufficiency. This trawler is fully fitted for all safety, navigation and communication, and is equipped for all weather all ocean operations.
Due to its size, depth and beam there is a tremendous amount of volume in this design. It already has 4 sleeping cabins to berth 9. This, along with its huge fish hold which can be made into additional accomodations or storage, make it a perfect vessel for adaptation to an Expedition Adventure Ship or a full conversion to a luxury Expedition Yacht or full luxury Trawler Yacht.
