Carinae, like many yachts started out as a dream some years ago. She was conceived in steel as a schooner and the design and building process was personally overseen by her owner assuring a high level of quality. The process was finished September 2004 when Carinae left Vancouver, Canada via the Panama Canal for the Caribbean. Carinae was to start a charter career however circumstances now dictate that Carinae be sold.
Carinae is beautifully finished but she is not a gold plated 'Mega yacht'. The owner created the feeling of being onboard a proper ship and visitors to this vessel have frequently confirmed that impression. No expense was spared in her design and construction and the list of amenities rivals any vessel afloat today. The owner is presently completing miscellaneous small projects as the vessel returns to the Vancouver area.
