The engines are raw water/fresh water loop cooled and wet exhausted via fiberglass mufflers through the hull sides aft amidships. New exhaust blankets are installed on the exhaust systems The engines are equipped with alarms, tachometers, volt meters, temperature gauges, oil pressure gauges. a Glendenning synchronizer, fuel hot shut downs and drive pressure gauges. The oil filters are AC Delco model PF911 and Wix model 51812. Oil type is Shell Rotella T SAE 40. The engine room is equipped with lights, insulation, vent blowers, natural ventilation and fire protection.

The transmissions are Twin Disc model MG-514C oil cooled and with a 2 to 1 gear ratio. The shafts are 2-1/2” stainless steel with 32 X 31 three (3) blade bronze propellers. One (1) spare propeller is stored in the forepeak. The port and starboard engines are controlled with Glendenning single lever electronic shifts and throttles and the center engine controls are Morse dual lever telescopic type. The engine room is also equipped with a fifteen 15 CFM (cubic feet per minute) air compressor.

ACCOMODATIONS:

Forward on the upper deck is the pilothouse featuring a custom crafted ash interior with a mahogany and ash sole, the helm station with full instrumentation, above and beneath storage, a teak steerer, a pedestal adjustable Captain’s chair, a three piece fixed windshield with center wiper, port and starboard 24” weather deck doors with fixed windows, port and starboard fixed side windows, a 6’ 6’ berth aft to port with above and beneath storage, two (2) chart lockers, a chart desk, overhead courtesy lights, a Sharp model 13MK100 13” color TV, and a Video Master model RV554 channel changer.  Aft the pilothouse is a forward stateroom featuring a queen size berth with 9” mattress, above and beneath storage, a mahogany and ash sole, paneled headlining and bulkheads, a simulated marble 24” X 54” vanity with a molded sink, hot and cold water, above and beneath storage, a 35” X 54” mirror with makeup lights, overhead and bulkhead lights, two (2) dual electrical receptacles, a hang-up and linen locker aft, two (2) fixed windows and a 24” side deck swing type door. Aft to starboard is a double entry shared head with a Raritan vacuum toilet and a walk-in shower.

To port is another upper stateroom featuring a queen size berth with a 9” mattress, above and beneath storage, shelf storage, a 21-1/2” X 25-1/2” simulated marble vanity with a molded sink, hot and cold water, above and beneath storage, a 25” X 34” mirror with makeup lights, paneled headlining and bulkheads, overhead and bulkhead lighting, two (2) dual electrical receptacles, two (2) 19” X 27” fixed side windows, one (1) 26-1/2” X 35” fixed aft window and a 22” centerline door to the aft upper deck.  The main cabin features leather fabric, an abundance of ash bulkhead and overhead paneling, mahogany cabinetry and joinery, a new mahogany and ash sole, thirteen (13) fixed side glasses, a 24” weather deck door to port forward and port and starboard 24” weather deck doors aft. Forward and to starboard is the galley featuring a large pantry to port, a Whirlpool Gold Accubake microwave oven and a traditional oven beneath centerline and a 43” mica counter space with above and beneath storage to starboard. Aft to starboard is a Frigidaire model FRS26124CB1 side by side 26.0 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer, a large 26” X 88” L-shaped counter space with double 9” X 15” X 15” and 9” X 14” X 18-1/2” stainless steel sinks, hot and cold water, beneath storage, a Frigidaire model FDB710LCBO dish washer, a Whirlpool four (4) burner electric cook top stove with a Braun range hood, one (1) four (4) way electrical receptacle overhead lights.  To port forward is shelf storage, a spiral companionway to the master stateroom, a spiral companionway to the guest bunkrooms below and a counter space aft. Aft the galley is the dinette featuring a 32” X 83” custom crafted hardwood mess table with a 54” bench seat. Aft is the salon featuring a 48” dry bar to starboard, three (3) leather swivel barrel chairs, an 18” X 30” lamp table with lamp, a 4’ X 8’ L-shaped leather sofa/bed, a washer and dryer locker aft to starboard, four (4) dual electrical receptacles and one (1) four (4) way electrical in the entertainment center. The entertainment center consists of an RCA dual am-fm cassette player and CD player and a Phillips 25” remote color TV. The lower deck consists of the master stateroom via a nine step companionway forward featuring a queen size berth with an 8” mattress, beneath storage, a 41” X 55” overhead mirror, a 57” X 59” forward bulkhead mirror, port and starboard drop bin storage, port and starboard shelf storage, bulkhead and overhead lighting, two (2) dual electrical receptacles, an entertainment center to starboard aft, a hang-up locker to port aft, a simulated marble vanity to port aft with sink and hot and cold water, above and beneath storage, a mirror with makeup lights and a 28” sliding privacy door.  The master head is located to starboard aft with a Raritan vacuum toilet, a five corner walk-in shower and double swing type privacy doors.

Down a nine-step spiral companionway aft the master stateroom are the guest quarters featuring a shared head centerline forward featuring a Raritan vacuum toilet, a walk-in shower, bulkhead lighting and a swing type privacy door. Aft the guest head to starboard is a storage locker and water heater machinery space. The lower deck features blue tweed bulkhead liner, a 3/16” painted aluminum sole, bulkhead lighting and four (4) guest bunk rooms, two (2) to port and two (2) to starboard. Each guest room features one (1) each stacked berths, above and beneath storage, wood top counter spaces with 4” X 10” round stainless steel sinks, hot and cold water, mirrors, overhead lighting, one (1) dual electrical receptacle and sliding folding privacy doors.  Cabin air conditioning consists of one (1) five (5) ton central unit, one (1) three (3) ton central unit and two (2) estimated 16,000 BTUs each for the pilothouse, living area, galley and salon. Cooling water is supplied by one (1) 110 volt pump located forward in the engine room.     

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:

The AC electrical system consists of  one (1) 240 volt 100 amp shore power with power split as necessary in to 240 volt 50 amp and 120 volt 30 amp circuits as necessary.  AC power is also supplied by one (1) seventy five (75.0) Kilowatt six (6) cylinder Isuzu model TDIEC Tropical Diesel Corp. Diesel generator located to port aft in the engine room with three thousand three hundred and two and eight tenths (3,302.8) hours. One (1) Perkins model LD35008 reported forty five (4,500) Kilowatt four (4) cylinder Diesel generator for emergency power is located to starboard aft in the engine room with two thousand ninety three and nine tenths (2,093.9) hours. The Perkins generator oil filter is a Perkins model 5950443 and the Isuzu generator oil filter is a Wix model 33385. Generator oil reportedly is Shell Rotella T SAE 40. Both generator control panels are located aft in the engine room. AC wiring is marine grade.

The DC system consists of four (4) Detonator 8 volt  lead acid batteries connected in series located to port and four (4) Detonator 8 volt lead acid batteries connected in series located to starboard for the 32 volt system for engines starting. One (1) Detonator 8-D 12 volt lead acid battery with 1400 CCA is located at the port generator for generator starting and house power. One (1) 8-D 12 volt lead acid battery with 1400 CCA is located at the starboard generator for generator starting and house power. Two (2) Perko ignition proof off/on selector switches are located aft in the engine room for the generator batteries. One (1) Detonator  8-D  12 volt lead acid battery with 1400 CCA is located on the cabin top for the electronics systems and house power. The labeled DC fused switch panel is located at the pilothouse helm console with eleven (11) switches for the ship’s systems and two (2) ignition proof off/on battery switches. Battery charging is provided by the engines alternators, one (1) Crown II automatic charger located beneath the helm console for the electronics battery, one (1) Lewco six (6) bank charger located in the engine room for the 32 volt system and one (1) Raritan Crown model R201-ZB4 located in the engine room for the 12 volt system.
