Comments Zarnitsa (formerly "Laguna British Friendly") is an adaptation of a winning half ton design, hand-built in Russia. Her stem backbone is laminated oak. The deck and cockpit sole are new in 1998. The hull and deck are covered by fiberglass set in epoxy resin. In over 8,000 miles of sailing she has proven to be incredibly dry. On her long passage from Russia to England, foodstuffs were carried in her bilge. ZARNITSA has undergone a large refit project which includes a new deck and professional Awlgrip paint job from the waterline up. A very special boat!!!
