Accommodations Magic was originally built to win under both MHS and PHRF rating is 60, 66 with roller credit. The boat was originally an Express 37 and was customized in 1998 with an extended transom, new bow and additional 400-lbs ballast. At this time, Pilots, Point Marina also completed a new awlgrip job on the topsides and deck. Construction is a fiberglass sandwich deck and hull with foam core and balsa in high load areas
Starting forward is sail storage in the bow. aft of a watertight bulkhead. Next aft to starboard is the enclosed head and to port is a hanging locker. The main salon has opposing settees, which convert to pipe berths for use at sea. There is a fold up table forward to starboard. Next aft is the Nav. Station and Galley, followed by a quarter berth on port and starboard sides. The interior is done in Ash and Teak with light blue cushions. Galley has a Origo 2 burner alcohol stove, a top loading icebox and a sink on centerline.
