Vessel Construction This 2002 Crowther Catamaran was custom built as is every Crowther as a world cruiser. This one however, was built by hand by an experienced sailor as well as an artisan. The complete design was increased by 10% to accomodate ergonomic function and human comfort and not sacrifice boat performance nor stability. This 7 year endeavour was accomplished with only the best products for the job. 7 drums of vinylester resin,the hulls have 2 overlays of glass-1808-11/2" biply with 5 layers on the bottom. 6lb foam corecell and 10lb corecell on all chainplate areas to help accomodate good compression ratios. There are 3 watertight bulkheads and sacrificial keels. Every component on the boat was handmade to spec with intricate detail and complete documentation. The photos can be duplicated for reference.
