Introduction Launched in '97 as "Hollandaise", this boat won a blue ribbon at that year's WoodenBoat Show at Mystic CT. Renamed Nautilus by her current owners, this classic still looks like a winner. She's fast, dry and the ride is smooth, thanks to a great Spencer Lincoln design, perfectly executed by Covey Island Boatworks. The Vetus bowthruster makes her easy to handle at the dock. She is reluctantly offered for sale due to her current owners change in plans.
Accommodations The fit and finish of the Covey Island yachts is beyond reproach, and the layout is quite versatile. Up to six people can sleep aboard, and storage is tucked in every conceivable space. The forward area has a nicely sized table and bench type seating that easily converts to sleeping space for two singles, or with the addition of the insert, becomes a large double berth. The head compartment is well sized and has more storage than one might expect in a boat of this length. The galley is down, to port. Aft and up a few steps brings one to the main saloon. To starboard one finds the helm area and the nav station is to port. This area is separated from the saloon by half-walls that accomodate more storage and are topped by countertops with teak fiddles. A pair of settees in the saloon each convert to a double berth and have storage below. The large mahogany dining table seats up to eight guests and may be moved to the cockpit for al fresco dining. The clean lines and impeccable finish of this interior will impress all who step aboard. Every detail has been well thought out and perfectly executed. Welcome aboard!
