PRICE REDUCED... Looking for a F28-R that WILL WIN regattas or just take you for the fastest ride possible on one of these models? Then look no more, you have just found it... "Leilani" formaly raced as "Dealers Choice" took First at the 2007 Key West Race week and The 2007 Corsair Nationals... Then was purchased in May 2007 as a dealer demo by her current owner. Wanting to be sure to have the fastest 28-R on the course, and even though it had the proven winning record, after acquiring "Leilani" he had built a complete duplicate NEW SET of NORTH 3DL SAILS including the Main, Jib, Screacher and Spinnaker. He then had the hull compounded/waxed, faired and added a New Randy Smyth racing rudder, also replaced was all the running rigging/halyards with upsized/upgraded spectra line. It has a new Tohatsu 9.8 Outboard (only used twice). OVER 20K SPENT in late 2007 with all the above listed upgrades and improvements.
He has only had this rocket ship out twice since his purchase. One time with another 28R owner showing him some rigging and sailing tips and then for only one regatta last year after outfitting it with the new sails and doing all the work he did... (The new set of racing sails have only been used one time)
The owner is now reluctantly selling as his work is keeping him too busy to race it as he had planned. The replacement cost for this one would be in the 145-150K range with all the extras, TWO COMPLETE SETS OF SAILS and all the upgrades.
