Chriscraft Cutlass powerboat for sale in Oregon. This wonderful Chriscraft Cutlass has had 3 owners, the original owner fished this boat from 1964 until 1989 where it spent most of its life fishing out of Coos Bay, Winchester bay and Florence Oregon. Since completing its recent restoration, Tyee III has fished in those places again and is recognized often by older gentlemen that knew her original owner and remember her name. They always have a story to tell about a day on the ocean and how well it she handled the water. From first hand experience, this is a real performer! It has always been called the ?Tyee III? and was a requested to be kept the same name in order to purchase the boat from the last owne who was a friend of the original owner and that was the request of him as well. Restored from the fall of 2000 to the spring of 2003 everything was replaced, restored or rebuilt. The motor is the original with upgrades to increase the horsepower to aproximately 225. She cruises nicely at eighteen knots and tops out at thirty two. The deck is finished bright instead of vinyl covered. The motor box is custom made with storage and a teak backrest for the seats. The custom made teak swim board with stainless steal brackets is curved like the transom and is made from seven eighths inch thick teak. She will sleep two nicely. This boat is very rewarding to own and drive whether cruising or fishing. It is by far the nicest example of a vintage Chris Craft Cutlass. She draws a crowd and turns heads no matter were she goes!
