Accomodation The C&C 42 offers an abundance of room. A large offset double berth forward, followed by a spacious head to starboard and a large hanging locker to port. The main salon has a long straight settee to starboard with storage above and below. To port is a large L-settee with storage above. A large center table that lifts up to have complete access to the engine. Aft to starboard is a spacious galley with ample counter space and storage. Across to port is an aft quarter berth with locker and shelve storage. There is a teak and holly sole throughout the boat and ample ventilation.

Hull C&C 42 has a white hull with wide blue boot and cove stripe, and black bottom. She has white decks, double life lines, bow and stern rails, side gates and wide side decks and a deep confortable cockpit. The mast was new in 1987 and is ten feet higher and out fitted with a Hood Stowaway.
