Sylvie Marie, our beautiful Catalina Yacht is definitely the sailors? choice. When a person owns a Catalina cruiser, it enables them to join the Catalina offshore cruisers ?Hall of Fame?. This Catalina 310 was designed for the experienced cruising couple, and incorporates the most desired big boat features. The large cockpit will comfortably host a group on seats long and deep enough to sleep on. The cockpit lockers will hold an inflatable and all your cruising gear. The side decks are wide and secure for safe crew movement forward and aft. Sail controls and anchoring systems are well thought out for ease of handling. The 310 represents an innovative approach to cruising boat design in an easily handled, affordable, stable thirty-one foot hull.
The salon is entered down several steps from the aft cockpit. The salon is spacious with a white suede L-shaped settee to port w/dinette table and a straight settee to starboard. The fully equipped L-shaped galley is immediately aft to starboard. The compact nav-station is just aft of the galley. There is a large guest double berth across the entire aft. The head is to port featuring a marine head, hot and cold water sink and a hand-held shower. The master cabin is forward with a large double V-berth. There is a 5000BTU MarineAire system with electronic thermostat.(Cables available to run A/C with a small portable generator)
Head room in salon is a comfortable 6'2".
During August 2007 Sylvie Marie was completely refitted with new electronics. The new electronics include: a Garmin 540 Chartplotter tied to autopilot, laptop and VHF radio (for DSC) -- Uniden UM525 VHF with Hailer and ram mic. DSC programmed and tied to GPS -- VHF mast-top mount antenna -- Alpine stereo with full iPod control with remote -- 15? LCD TV with integrated DVD -- Raymarine ST60+ wind indicator with mast-top vane -- Raymarine ST60+ Tridata (speed & depth).
