DECK LAYOUT The Carver 355 has a wide swim platform, with a swim ladder that folds away beneath it, a stainless steel fender holder to starboard, fresh water shower; a lazarette to port which houses the shore power outlets and stores the cables; wide steps up to the port side of the aft cockpit. The aft cockpit has a hard top, snap down carpeting on the floor, an icemaker and wet bar on the port side and access to the flybridge to starboard. Centrally situated is the sliding door which allows entry to the interior of the boat. The flybridge has 2 long seating areas, one behind the steering/instrument consul and one in front. A full enclosure surrounds the flybridge and the aft deck. Access to the side decks is via lexan doors on either side of the aft deck. The forward deck is spacious.
Interior Layout The floors are carpeted throughout and there are Venetian blinds over all the windows on the boat. There is a sleeper couch to port as you enter and a single chair to starboard, as well as the cabinet that houses the TV and stereo. Forward, on the starboard side you step down to a dinette with seating for 4 and a further step takes down into the port-side galley. The galley is fully equipped and has plenty of counter space and storage. The forward cabin is off the galley and has a huge v-berth across the cabin with a single bunk above it on the starboard side. The forward head is to port. The aft cabin is accessed from starboard of the entry. Two steps down into a short passage takes you into the spacious aft cabin, with head to starboard, the cabin takes up the rest of the space. There is a lot of storage beside, and at the foot of, the double bed; windows on both sides and a sliding port at the stern give good light and ventilation.
