This 42' Carver Motor Yacht is one of the most popular boats in her class. She features a large flybridge, aft deck, large open salon, and two staterooms to insure room, comfort, and convenience. Whether you are planning a day on water, a weekend getaway, a cruise to the islands, or plan to live aboard this 42' Carver is ready to accommodate.
On deck we start at the top with a flybridge with white bimini top and full enclosure. The centerline helm station is well equipped with Raytheon radar, GPS, and fish/depth finder, Loran Navigator, and Standard VHF radio. Seating consists of captain & companion seating at the helm with guest lounge forward of the helm station. There's a sun pad aft for the sun bathers in the group. A stairway port side leads below to the carpeted aft deck with hard top. Table and chairs provide a place to relax, enjoy a beverage and a beautiful day on the water. The transom door opens to a ladder down to the swim platform. An APEX hard bottom dinghy with Mercury outboard will take you to shallow water and beaches. Wing doors open to side decks that lead forward to a foredeck with sun pad and bow pulpit with anchor and windlass. Port side companionway leads into the salon.
The carpeted salon is bright, airy, and inviting. As you enter the salon you find a recliner port side with an entertainment center with television and stereo forward. To starboard is an upholstered L-shaped sleep sofa. The galley is forward and down to starboard and features teak upper & lower cabinets, a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, three-burner range, microwave/convection oven, coffee maker, toaster oven, solid surface counter top with stainless steel lobster pot sinks, and wood floor. There are two staterooms. The forward guest stateroom features an offset double berth with mirrored bulkheads, bedside bureau with TV, hanging locker, and guest head. The guest head has mirrored vanity with stainless steel sink, parquet floor, and shower stall. The master aft cabin has island queen berth with double-wide cedar-lined hanging locker, mirrored vanity, television, washer/dryer, and ensuite head.
