Accommodations The boat has a telescoping sprit pole for asymmetrical spinnakers, as well as standard spinnaker pole for symmetrical spinnakers. An excellent purchase for a competitive racer or a second boat for the cruiser /racer combination.
Entering the Carrera 290, the port side amidships has the sail comp electronic compass, GPS and VHF. Additionally, the boat has volt meter and instrument panel. Looking forward is a long narrow vee-berth with the sprit pole launch purchase and retracting lines as well as a net bag all to starboard. On port side amidships are the spinnaker and jib sheet lines hanging from overhead for well ventilated storage. Everything is set up in a very neat fashion enhancing the space available below. Moving aft on either side are long port and starboard quarter berths and extra storage below the cockpit. The ice box is the companionway step. The boat also has a molded chart table that is presently not installed. PHRF Western LIS is 102.
