Stylish and good-looking the Californian 35 Convertible has a sporty profile and unique window treatment that gives her a distinctive look. Equally at home as a family cruiser or weekend fisherman, the interior of the Californian 35 is quite spacious and grain-matched teak is quite impressive.
The carpeted salon is open with lots of natural light with curtains to control how much light you have. As you enter through sliding doors from the cockpit there is a full sized sofa to your left and twin chairs with TV table to your right. There is a Raritan icemaker to keep your beverages cold or if you are serious about fishing keep your catch fresh. The galley and dinette are forward and down, they feature a teak/holly sole. The galley is equipped with a Princess two-burner electric/alcohol stove, Norcold refrigerator/freezer, Black & Decker microwave, and a large stainless steel sink. Across from the galley on the starboard side is booth style dinette with seating for four. Forward of the galley is an enclosed head with mirrored vanity with separate shower stall. The stateroom has v-berth with under berth storage. A 16000 BTU Marine AC unit cools interior.
On deck we find a good-sized cockpit with full-width swim platform with ladder. Wide side decks give access to foredeck and dinghy. Extended pulpit holds Danforth anchor with davit and roller chain and line. Above, the bridge features a bimini and three sided enclosure. The centerline helm has single captain's chair and a full compliment of electronics: Garmin 182/232 Chartplotter, Autohelm digital depth finder, Commander Capri digital depth finder, Commander Capri speed indicator, Raytheon R20 24 mile radar, Ritchie compass, Uniden VHF radio, and Seaworthy AM/FM/CD system. Guest seating is forward of the helm station.
