Overview PASSAGE EAST is a fine example of classic Burger design and construction, with a beautiful cherry interior and large expanses of glass, teak decks, and with full seven foot standing headroom throughout. Machinery is installed all the way aft, the three guest cabins are amidships, and crew accommodations are all the way forward, allowing for both guest and crew privacy
Aft deck The comfortable aft deck on PASSAGE EAST is accessed from the integral swim platform via a stairway to starboard, passarelle to port, or from the port and starboard side decks. A beautiful inlay is incorporated into the teak deck here, and the extended deckhouse roof shelters this area. A settee aft and several side chairs provide seating for alfresco dining, and the varnished teak table has a hydraulically controlled height adjustment. In addition, there are two comfortable casual chairs with ottomans. To starboard is a stainless and teak ladder to the boat deck. Wing doors to the side decks provide further protection from the elements while underway. The generous side decks extend all the way up to the foredeck, and were beautifully painted two years ago with the ribs exposed. The look is very yacht-like with heavy construction.
A door from the swim platform leads to the lazarette and forward into the engine room.
Main Salon Entry to the main salon is through a door from the aft deck, and the impression is of great volume and light. Window sills in the salon drop slightly below seat back level, and the aft corner windows are angled, providing a panoramic 270 degree view. To starboard are two comfortable stuffed chairs with ottomans flanking a cabinet which houses the television and entertainment equipment, and to port is a large U-shaped settee with a glass topped coffee table.
The dining table is at the forward end of the salon, and is separated by a low credenza, which also provides storage for china and service items. A mirror backed wet bar occupies the forward bulkhead of the salon, and provides further storage for glassware and service items.
A door to port leads to an entry foyer with a sliding door to the side deck. To starboard a stairway leads below decks to the guest staterooms, and a door leads forward to the day head with an antique bureau converted to a vanity. Further forward up several steps is the pilothouse. The country kitchen style galley occupies the entire forward end of the main deck. With the doors both port and starboard closing off the main salon, this arrangement allows the crew access to the dining area, wheelhouse, and crew quarters, while ensuring guests privacy.
Galley
The galley is beautifully decorated with granite countertops, a marble sole, and stainless appliances. A center island separates the galley from the dining table with chairs and settee forward, and further enhances the functionality for the chef. A stairway forward and to starboard leads to the crew accommodations.
Equipment includes:
SubZero refrigerator (2004) GE refrigerator/freezer w/icemaker SubZero freezer (2004) SubZero drawer refrigeration General Electric Profile microwave oven Kitchen Aid garbage disposal Dacor 4 burner stove
Master Stateroom Through double doors at the forward end of the lower guest foyer is the full width master stateroom. A king sized bed is athwartships to starboard, and faces a small sofa with coffee table to port. A large armoire on the forward bulkhead contains the entertainment center. There is lots of storage in hanging lockers and built in bureaus. Twin ensuite heads, one with bidet and tub, and the other with stall shower, flank the entry doors, and buffer any noise between the master and guest cabins forward.
Guest Staterooms Aft of the lower guest foyer are the two guest cabins. The one to port has a queen sized bed, and to starboard is another cabin with twin berths. Storage is ample in hanging lockers and bureaus. Both cabins have ensuite heads with vanity, stall shower, and toilet.
Crew Quarters Down a stairway at the forward starboard corner of the country kitchen are the crew accommodations. The captain's cabin with double bed is all the way forward, and has an adjoining head with vanity, stall shower, and toilet. Aft of this to port is another cabin with twin bunks and ensuite head with vanity, stall shower and toilet. The crew lounge to starboard has a dinette, entertainment equipment, refrigerator, and laundry.
Pilothouse Located up several steps from the starboard main deck foyer is the wheelhouse with a raised table and bench seat aft of the helm. The view forward is unobstructed, equipment is well laid out, and there is a chart table and additional storage in four drawers to port of the helm. A sliding hatch leads up to the flybridge.
Fly Bridge The large flybridge area is another perfect spot for entertaining and dining. There is bench seating around three sides, and a dining table with several chairs to port. A recent addition is a full galley with refrigerator, sink, icemaker, and electric grill. An aluminium hard top provides protection from the elements. All the way aft is the boat deck with liferaft, dinghy crane and storage for the 15' tender.
The upper helm has a triple bench seat, full electronics, gauges and controls, and outside access to the aft deck via a ladder all the way aft.

Construction PASSAGE EAST has an aluminum hull and superstructure with a fine entry, hard chine and full length deep V.
