In addition, CHERISH recently under went an extensive stem to stern maintenance program which included: bilges cleaned; new exhaust manifolds; new refrigerator and ice maker on aft deck; all electronics and antennas replaced and/or updated; new canvas and eisen glass replaced throughout. A complete Awlgrip paint including bottom in 2005 and recent new teak decks. Low profile Nautical Structures davit added along with hard bottom inflatable tender. New hydraulic starting system with new motors and accumulators. The stabilizers, rudders and props were serviced.

All canvas, seats and cushions have all been replaced and are white and flag blue in color. All chrome has been re-plated; transmissions and both engines were rebuilt and generator the other was replaced. The electronics are state-of-the-art and are all inter-face. The galley has been completely upgraded with Corian counter tops, the flooring is high grade industrial quality and top-of-the-line appliances including a large stainless steel GE refrigerator and freezer. All electric and plumbing systems including fresh water vacuum toilets have been upgraded and/or installed.

The interior has been tastefully redecorated with high quality carpet along with window treatments and furnishings. A new satellite system was installed for all five televisions including the large screen tv in the main salon where the stero sound system is located.
