On the lower deck, WINDSCAPE has engine room aft, three staterooms ensuite amidships and two crew staterooms forward.  The main deck has a large aft deck, walk around side decks, brilliant main salon, day head and country style galley forward.  The raised pilothouse is amidships and leads up to the flying bridge and boat deck.  From the aft deck the engine room articulated door is accessed via a lighted stairway down to the integral swim platform or the engine room hatch in the aft deck.

Comments

"WINDSCAPE" is in turn key condition. Easily shown in Newport Rhode Island. With freshly rebuilt engines and numerous upgrades since 2006, she offers immediate trouble free pleasure for a new owner. A classic looking yacht with modern equipment, large staterooms and proper crews quarters. New tender and outboard. The interior soft goods and woodwork are done tastefully with high quality work overseen by the owners discerning eye. Take advantage of a beautiful refit yacht without the cost and lost time of the boat yard. Call for courtesy showings for qualified buyers.

Aft Deck

The AFT DECK is large, open, decked in teak (2000) and covered by the hard top.  Dining on the aft deck for six is at an oval teak table with cushioned teak chairs.  Stern shore access is via passarelle and swim platform.  Through wing doors, the side decks lead forward to the bow.  A single door leads forward to the Salon.

Main Salon

The MAIN SALON is breathtaking in the elegant and handsome new dark varnished wood finish.  Hunter Douglas silhouette blinds controls the bright natural light from the surrounding panoramic span of large windows.  Beige and white carpeting complement the sofa, soft leather armchairs and the other furnishings of this charming salon.  Subtle overhead lighting and wide varnished carlins enhance the mood.  Ideal conversation furniture is comfortable and inviting.

Dining

The FORMAL DINING area is set apart by a new low divider between the living and dining areas.  It contains a rising 42' Sony flat screen satellite color television that, by remote, swivels to face either living or dining areas.   In the gracious DINING ROOM area, the polished mahogany table very comfortably seats six in handsome cushioned chairs, all set beneath fine crystal lighting.  The adjacent lowboy bureau stores linens, flatware and china.  Forward an all-new granite topped, mirror backed, recessed bar has hammered sink, refrigerator/ icemaker and deep storage.  Cabineted overhead is storage for stemware, etc.  A generous DAY HEAD/POWDER ROOM is private to port.  A watertight Freeman side door to the port deck plus adjacent steps up to the pilothouse is conveniently placed.

Country Style Galley

The COUNTRY STYLE GALLEY is forward past the starboard Freeman door to the side deck, past the pilothouse and its cellar of storage and power packs.  Huge and family style, the galley features long Dakota mahogany granite counters and back splash and a quite large granite topped island.  A slide out table provides access to a comfortable settee for eight or more giving access to seating and the vast storage beneath the seating.  The galley is equipped and inviting. (See inventory list).   One of several truly pleasant gathering locations.

Master Stateroom

For the MASTER and TWO GUEST STATEROOMS, a stairway forward in the salon leads down to a foyer from which arched doors lead to all staterooms.  The extremely spacious master stateroom is full width, featuring a centerline king berth flanked on both sides by built-in night cabinets, libraries, lighting, cedar closets, chests of drawers, a lounge settee for reading to port plus desk and storage to starboard.  Two baths luxuriously serve this grand stateroom.  To port is a large bath with full size Jacuzzi tub/shower, toilet, and bidet, marble sole and counter with sink.  To starboard is another bath with shower, head and counter with sink.  At the foot of the master bed is a country French cabinet concealing a remote controlled, rising 27" Sharp flat screen color television.  Paneling throughout the staterooms is ash in a taupe tone.  All new exclusive carpeting, shams, spreads, drapes and cushions blend to create a warm and charming atmosphere in all staterooms.

Guest Staterooms

The TWO GUEST STATEOOMS are quite generous in size, one having a queen berth and the other twin berths.  Each has full head and shower, cedar closet, entertainment electronics and fresh, extremely pleasant décor, just as it is throughout WINDSCAPE.

Pilothouse

The PILOTHOUSE is up five steps from the main deck giving it a commanding view.  All the desired aids to navigation, safety, systems and electronics are ergonomically placed for greatest convenience to the helmsman.  (See Pilothouse Inventory)  A comfortable observation settee permits relaxed cruising for guests and the helmsman.  Two large, low windows give the helmsman a unique view of docksides, both port and starboard.

Fly Bridge & Boat Deck

The FLYING BRIDGE and BOAT DECK are gleaming and freshly fitted out.  Full electronics, instruments and controls including portable remote wing control (See Flybridge Inventory).  A bench observation seat for two is at the helm along with wet bar and refrigerator.  A Bimini top covers the central area, which has two long, freshly cushioned lounge settees, plus a large cushioned sunbathing area (beneath which is a oval, Jacuzzi hot tub).

The flybridge sole is natural teak wood. (2000). A radar arch holds the various antennae.

The BOAT DECK, aft of the Flying Bridge, stores hydraulic davit, 8 man Avon liferaft and EPIRB.

Side Decks & Foredeck

The SIDE DECKS and FOREDECK are Awlgrip nonskid paint and the bulwarks are constructed ship style with exposed framing.  The Poole anchor is in hawse with 550' of chain and electric windlass.  The forward section of the trunk cabin opens to a huge storage compartment.  Atop the trunk cabin is a "beach" sun pad.  The handsome Burger trademark rounded teak caprail surrounds the entire yacht.  The caprail was stripped in September 2006 and has many coats of varnish.

Engine Room

The ENGINE ROOM is accessed both by a hatch in the aft deck and the Freeman watertight door in the transom.  Immediately to port is a watertight door to the isolated, sound deadened, night generator and mechanical equipment room. To starboard is the utility room with electrical panel, watermaker and workbench.  A central door leads to the spacious, spotless, engine room.

The main engines and new Phasor 38 kw generator in sound box (October 2006) are arranged for easy access.   The main engines received in-frame overhaul by RPM Diesel, an authorized Detroit Diesel dealer, and are at zero hours July 2007.

Remarks

Having built and operated other yachts, the original owner selected the Burger Boat Company for its reputation of high quality.  He then selected each system on board for utmost dependability and he situated each for ease of operation and maintenance.  This 91' Burger being such a huge success, he went on later to build a larger Burger in the same style.
