Remarks
The project Green Seagull was initially started as a 10 year project to create a classic sailing schooner for charter/ living aboard with a small team of technical experts.
The aluminum Hull was designed by STICHNOTH ?Germany and deck layout and interior was designed by ANDRE HOEK design-Holland. Detailed AutoCAD drawings of the interior were made by VRIPACK-Holland so interior could be created in a workshop
The Hull was build in Holland by Bloemsma & van Breemen and deck was build in teak by DORR-Holland.
The ship was transported to Gibraltar where the engine , keel , bow thruster and Controllable Pitch propeller were installed. A generator room was created.
Under her own power she sailed to Port Camargue France where the technical part was started in cooperation with Viking Bateaux.
Main items were: Exhaust System, Fuel system, Insulation, Sound proofing, Generators, MUIR Anchor winches, HAMANN Waste water system, Railing , Boulders, Cap Rail and Gangway.
Hydraulic system was last started by creating day tank and piping
The intention was to have the interior build in Turkey.
Up to now over 2.2 M ? was invested.
Location at this moment is Port Camargue France, the ship can sail under own engine power new place.
