Accommodations
Three cabin layout with two duplicate staterooms aft and master stateroom forward w/ ensuite head. Twelve opening ports, eight fixed portlights and four overhead hatches provide a light and airy interior. Originally equipped with three heads, the toilet has been removed from the port head aft providing additional storage.
The master stateroom forward features a centerline double berth that measures over 7 feet. Generous drawer storage located below the berth. Additional drawers, a large hanging locker w/light, outboard shelves and a small settee make the master a comfortable retreat at sea or at anchor. Two large deck hatches, and two portlights provide ample light and ventilation. The master head is to starboard.
Moving aft into the salon there is a large settee and dining table to starboard and outboard, and a large center settee facing the dining table. The table easily seats 6-7 for a meal. Opposite to port is a large "in-line" galley w/ plenty light and ventilation that make preparing meals onboard a pleasure. The interior of the vessel features warm teak throughout and teak and holly sole in EXCELLENT condition. The large and inviting salon of the Oceanis may be her best attribute - after excellent sailing and seakeeping abilities.
Moving aft again towards the companionway, you will note the easy access angle of the molded companionway stairs and the non-skid inserts that provide safe footing underway. There are duplicate cabins aft to port and to starboard. Both cabins are large, airy and capture plenty of light. Both cabins include a large hanging locker w/light, additional drawer and shelf storage, dressing seat and seperate head compartment for each cabin. The seller concluded that two heads were plenty for his use of the yacht, so one toilet was removed leaving the sink and shower in place. Currently this compartment serves as additional storage.
Up four steps from the salon to the cockpit. Cockpit features teak seating surfaces, large oversized scuppers, excellent visibility to all engine instrumentation and sail controls. There is a centerline cockpit table great for meals underway and at anchor.
Galley
Galley is to port and runs fore and aft. There are large counter tops for food preparation and abundant dish and dry good storage. Excellent light and ventilation make the galley pleasant place to be preparing meals.
