Accommodations "Ambient" is in an excellent condition. She has an in miast Roller furling main and a 140% roller furling genoa. All of her sail controls lead to the cockpit. The draft is 5'7" and has a 14'2" beam. Twin wheels provide an open cockpit.
"Ambient" is an exceptionally maintained Beneteau 473 with upgrades including 28 K reverse cycle AC/Heat, raymarine E120 plotter, ST6002+ Autopilot, 32" Sony HDTV and much more. She features the 2 stateroom Owners layout with a large pantry behind the galley providing plenty of space for storing large items. She has only 420 hours, 250 of which are freshwater hours spent during the 2005 cruising season on Lake Michigan. In Spring of 2007, she had her bottom completely re-sanded and painted with Awlgrip. Her teak toerails and companionway trim were just refinished from bare wood and recoated with 8 coats of Awlbrite in July 2007.

Forward Cabin This is a two-cabin version of this well-designed comtemporary yacht. Starting forward is the very spacious forward cabin with a 6'10" double berth with storage udnerneath. Storage shelves with slotted doors, handing locker, settee and additional hull-mounted shelving. Ensuite private head with toilet, sink, and separate shower stall.

Salon and Aft Cabin Moving aft is the Main Salon witha U-shaped settee and folding inlaid dining table to starboard and a single settee to port. The salon is finished in handsome cherry wood and is bright and airy with a 6'8" headroom. The fully equipped galley is aft to starboard with a well-thought out L design. it boasts a microwave oven, a large freezer, twin sinks, gimbaled stove, ample counter space, and an adjacent pantry/storage room.
To port of the companionway Nav station with chart table with stowage, bookshelf, and instrument panel. Aft of that is the door to the owner's aft stateroom with athwart ships double berth (6' 10"), hanging locker and ensuite head with toilet and sink that may be entered from either cabin.
