Introduction "Avventura III" is a particularly clean and well cared for owners version of this highly successful shoal draft Bruce Farr design. Never chartered and offered for sale by her original owners, she will be turn key for spring sailing on the Chesapeake or beyond in 2008.
Accomodation This "Owners version" features 2 cabins with the master forward. There is a commodious berth on centerline. Each stateroom has en suite head compartment with electric toilet. The main salon has a large dining table to seat a crowd for dinner. This area converts to a double berth to accommodate extra guests.

Electrical System The electrical system on Avventura allows for extended cruising without plugging into the dock. Merke Marine of Annapolis has overseen numerous upgrades to the vessels electrical systems to ensure deep 12volt storage capacity and multiple charging regimens. Remarks In 1997 the Beneteau 461 was awarded Boat of the Year Best Value Full-size Cruiser by Cruising World magazine.
