The 3988 is a very stylish boat with rakish bridge and canted windows. She is a well priced family cruiser with roomy accommodations and a long list of equipment. She's built on a shallow-deadrise modified V hull with a nice beam and prop pockets to reduce shaft angles. Inside the two staterooms, two head floorplan is arranged with an island bed forward and a double berth in the second stateroom that extends below the elevated dinette in the salon. The master stateroom fitted with a bathtub. The salon is arranged with the galley aft and to port. Additional features include a stylish integral swim platform with shower and transom door, port and starboard steps, wide sidedecks and a very comfortable and spacious flybridge with seating for six and new 2007 Bottom Paint. She also boasts a 13' 4" Caribe Dinghy w/ a 50HP Honda outboard and a 800lb Brower Dinghy Davit System. This 3988 was delivered with the very popular and well thought of twin 330HP Cummins Diesels.
Accommodations Featuring a two stateroom two head layout. Island berth forward and a double berth in the second stateroom. the interior layout is very bright and roomy. Entering the salon from the cockpit, the l-shaped settee is located to port with the electrical systems and storage spaced located oposite to starboard. Moving forward, the large galley is situated to starboard and includes all the ammenities of home. Just forward of the galley is a lower helm with a seat that closes down to provide additional counterspace for the galley. Counterspace and storage is plentiful. Opposite the galley is a dinette. Moving forward and down three steps, the guest stateroom is situated to port with private access to the guest head. Forward of the guest stateroom is the guest head/shower. Continuing forward, the master stateroom includes an island queen berth with hanging lockers to port and starboard. The master head includes both a shower stall and bathtub arrangement.
