VESSEL WALK-THROUGH

The Azimut 68' has been described as "a top shelf Med-yacht with enormous owner's suite, sleek, fast and lavishly appointed."   Without a doubt, the 68' has the finest master stateroom in a yacht of it's size: full beam with larger windows in the hull side that give you an exciting view when you are underway.  Each stateroom has it's own head making them highly comfortable for guests.  Her interior curves along with the gloss cherry interior demonstrate the abilities of Azimut's talented Italian craftsman.  The 16 degree deadrise at the transom gives her a nice ride plus good sea-keeping ability in a following sea.  With the 1360 hp MAN engines she's capable of 34 knots top with a 30 knot cruise.

Stepping aboard onto the aft deck through the side boarding gate, you notice the expanse of this space with a settee and table that can be used for everything from a snack to al fresco dining.  Entering the split level salon, the lower area has a tan/gray chenille sofa to port, a blue leather sofa to starboard and a 42' plasma TV with lift hidden in the cabinet just aft.  Going forward toward the full galley on the starboard you pass the open spiral staircase to the fly bridge area.  Off to port there is a full dinette with an adjustable size high varnish table just aft of the lower helm station which has two pilot's chairs.

On the starboard side of the helm is the staircase down to the master and guest staterooms.  In the cabin to starboard is a full size stack washer and dryer hidden in a closet with a desk and office table.  This stateroom can be set up either as an office, sleeping quarters for one or for two.  Opposite to port is a stateroom with twin beds with a diamond pattern cover and forward is a VIP stateroom with a tapered queen bed covered with a blue, check pattern spread.  The master has an elegant embroidered bed cover and his/her sinks in the head; all staterooms have custom made mattresses.

From the aft deck and up the stairs is a large, well thought out flybridge area.  There is a round table surrounded by built in seating to the right of the helm located on the port side.  There is a wet bar with sink, grill and refrigerator aft of the helm.  Just aft of the stairs from the cockpit is a 400kg Opacmare davit.  From the swim platform is the entrance to the engine room and crew quarters which has a full head, shower and two beds.
