In this boat you have the epitome of an Alan Andrews design.  You get the performance to compete with all out racing boats combined with the luxurious accommodations you expect from a dedicated cruising yacht. She was overhauled in 2001 which included a complete topside/deck and interior refinish. She raced in the Chicago and Port Huron to Mackinac races in 2002 before being put in storage for 03’ & 04’.  She was assembled again in May 05’ and raced in both Mackinac races again being skippered by an 82 year old 56 year veteran who thought he was finished racing until he chartered this boat.  Afterward he said “If I could sail under the same conditions on the same boat I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again”.  This level of design sophistication to combine state of the art technology with old world craftsmanship is an Alan Andrews signature.   This is truly a work of art to satisfy the very demanding racer as well as the laid back cruiser.
