Accommodations

ANGEL has a highly customized version of the successful Alden 54 aft cockpit layout, with three staterooms, two heads and a large, adjoining galley and main salon.

The OWNER'S STATEROOM is forward, immediately aft of the watertight crash bulkhead, with a centerline queen size berth on centerline, good bunk access from both sides, blanket and linen stowage port & starboard, and four large drawers below.  Outboard to starboard is a custom settee with pull-out foot rest.  To port is a large hanging locker.  There is also an opening hatch to the foredeck and additional stowage
in shelves and lockers.  The ENSUITE OWNER'S HEAD is next aft to port, with Corian countertops on the vanity, vacu-flush head, towel and linen stowage and opening port.  The Stall Shower is outboard to starboard, with generous space, teak seat and locker
outboard.

The Aft Bulkhead of the Owner's Stateroom is also water-tight, through a fully gasketed stateroom door to the MAIN SALON.  There are two custom built, swiveling easy chairs  to starboard with a small drop leaf butler table between them, which can be set  up as a small dining table, coffee or game table. There is a comfortable single pilot berth outboard to starboard, with reading light, shelves, etc..  An ottoman is stored below the main salon table for use with the chairs - or as a seat for dining inboard at the large, dropleaf main salon table, which is surrounded with a comfortable "U" shaped settee.  The Entertainment Center is outboard to starboard, with book and storage shelves forward and aft, and 20" TV at center behind a louvered cover, with DVD, stereo and VCR behind a louvered cover with TV controls.  Watermaker control is in the same location.

The "U" shaped GALLEY is aft of the salon to port, running from centerline outboard and aft to the companionway.  Corian countertops are finished with a backsplash outboard and radius inboard, joined to varnished cherry cap rails.  There is an abundance of counter and cabinet space in a great, working galley arrangement.  Valence cabinets are crafted of varnished cherry, forward and inboard, providing stowage for all dishes and glassware, with custom lighting below including muted red lighting for cooking underway.  Other galley equipment includes:
Force 10 propane stove, oven, broiler w/cutting board
Microwave oven
Grunert refrigeration; 110 volt and engine drive with completely separate compressors and coolant loops for complete redundancy
Top and front loading refrigeration compartment
Separate top loading freezer compartment
Remote thermometer gauges for all refrigerated compartments
NuTone food processor

The GUEST HEAD is across from the Galley to starboard, with Wilcox Crittenden "Skipper" head, holding tank and "Y" valve; Corian counter on the vanity, stall shower and access both from the main cabin and the GUEST STATEROOM, which is fully aft to starboard.  The stateroom has a full queen size berth, plenty of stowage in shelves, lockers and cabinets, opening hatch to deck level and two opening ports as well.

The NAVIGATOR'S CABIN is outboard of the companionway to port, with a comprehensive navigation station/office facing outboard and provided with a comfortable navigator's chair that rolls on a Harken track.  Aft of the nav. Station is a full double berth, and the cabin also provides an a generous amount of stowage, natural light and ventilation via opening ports.
