Accommodations The aft cabin of Juno II can be closed off from the main salon and galley area, by twin doors in the main bulkhead. The aft cabin houses two quarter berths, a double to port and single to starboard, the navigation table below the steps, storage lockers against the hulls and the electrical panel, situated up on the bulkhead. The quarter berths are open and make good storage areas or sea berths. Entry into the forward section of the boat is via the galley, to starboard or via the head to port. The doors of the head can be latched back to create a passageway, behind which are the basin and toilet. The compact, galley area is well-designed and equipped with storage easily accessible from any point. The large, front-opening Grunert refrigerator and freezer are at floor level and counter level respectively. Forward of the galley, a secondary companionway allows direct access to the deck, amidships. The head, with separate shower, can be accessed from the port side of the salon. Straight settees on either side of the fold-down salon table double up as sea-berths and have plentiful storage behind the back rests as well as above. A pilot berth is located above the port settee. The forward cabin has a V-berth with storage beneath as well as on either side of the cabin. The interior of this attractive boat is finished in teak and cedar and the cupboard doors have rattan fronts to allow good ventilation. The wood is beautifully maintained and has the luster afforded by regular varnishing. The engine is situated in the area between the galley and the head and has superb access from fore and aft as well as through large hatches in the galley and head.

Broker's Remarks HUGE PRICE REDUCTION ($26 000). THE OWNERS DO NOT WANT JUNO II SITTING IN A YARD FOR THE SAILING SEASON.THIS BOAT IS FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY! Juno II is hull number 19 of the classic Alden 44 cruising series. Her off-white/eggshell colored topsides, with gold covestripe, beautifully painted in 2003 set her out from the crowd. She comes fully equipped for serious offshore cruising, including custom triple headstays (all on furlers), Sea Recovery watermaker, twin Air Marine wind generators (the latest silent design), SSB, Mini M Satphone, Maxprop and much more. Her current owners have cruised her and maintained her through 17 loving years, but are now ready to pass her on to equally caring owners. If you are looking for a well equipped boat that will take you anywhere at speed and in comfort, Juno II deserves your attention.
