Searching for a reliable, clean and well-maintained trawler that doesn't have leaky windows and decks and is still being cruised regularly? If so, CHANGES IN ATTITUDE is well worth your consideration. Her Ohio owners move aboard each October and head south on the Intracoastal Waterway to enjoy the Florida Keys and the Bahamas, returning to Georgia in May. Her twin naturally aspirated 135 Lehmans provide fuel efficient muscle, and her 5Kw Westerbeke generator (new in 2002) guarantees power wherever and whenever you need it. She'll cruise all day at 7 to 8 knots at 1800 RPM, using just 3.5 gallons of diesel per hour, and is capable of a 700-mile range. Best of all, you won't have worries about the underwater portion of her hull -- her owners invested $15,000 on a complete bottom job, including an epoxy barrier coat, in 2006. CHANGES IN ATTITUDE has air conditioning, good electronics and serious ground tackle and you'll even get a BOSS dinghy and an outboard engine. Her fuel tanks are very nearly topped off and you won't have to buy shore power cords, fenders, docklines, or a Magma propane grill because they all come with the boat.
Accommodations
A very spacious aft stateroom provides an owners' suite with a private head compartment that includes a separate shower/tub. An abundance of storage, including a hanging locker, surrounds the centerline queen. There are five opening bronze ports, with screens, in the aft cabin, plus a port in the head, and an overhead opening hatch, also with a screen. A starboard L-shaped settee in the salon faces a lounge chair to port, with an adjustable dinette table in between that converts the settee to another sleeper. Opposite of the lower starboard helm station is a navigation desk with its own chair. Walking forward leads past a head to starboard and then to a guest cabin, configured as a V-berth with filler cushion, with two opening bronze ports and an opening overhead hatch, and under-bunk storage. All sanitation hoses were replaced in 2007, and a new Y-valve was installed for the forward head.
