This Albin 42 Pilothouse Sundeck is a unique trawler with classic style and exceptional accommodations. She is designed to take you anywhere with comfort, style, and economy. She features a flybridge, sun deck, pilothouse, large open salon, and two staterooms to insure room, comfort, and convenience.
On deck we start at the top with a flybridge with bimini top. The upper helm station is forward with 360? view. The bridge is large with room for friends and family with guest seating and a wet bar with ice maker and refrigerator to insure everyone is refreshed. Steps aft leads below to the open aft deck with hard top, table & chairs, and deck locker. The aft deck makes a great place to relax, entertain, or dine alfresco. Wide side decks lead forward to the foredeck and the pilothouse. A ladder leads down to the teak swim platform. The pilothouse is accessed from the bridge or side decks and features lower helm and chart station. The pilothouse provides an all-weather helm station with easy access to bridge or salon. Electronics includes Raymarine radar, Raymarine GPS/chart plotter, auto pilot, depth finder, compass, and three VHF radios.
The salon is bright, airy, and very teak with convertible sofa, easy chair, and drop-leaf table. The galley is down and features teak cabinets, formica counter top, stainless steel double sink, three-burner range with oven, microwave oven, and refrigerator/freezer.
There are two staterooms. The forward guest stateroom features v-berth, under-berth storage, and shelving. The guest head has toilet, vanity with sink, and shower. The master aft cabin has island berth. Teak woodwork provides warmth and style. Hanging lockers, drawers, dressing table, and cabinets to either side of the bed provide ample storage. The ensuite master head has toilet, vanity with sink and shower stall. Master stateroom features a laundry locker with wash and dryer.
True Grit is powered by a 210-hp Caterpillar diesel engine designed for economical and dependable performance. Mechanical features include two Cruisaire HAC units and a Westerbeke 15kW generator.
