Located on the biggest island in San Francisco Bay (Alameda) with sister offices in Simpson Bay, St. Maarten and Chaguaramas, Trinidad we have one of the largest networks for locating and marketing boats.The San Francisco office specializes in all types of sailboats and offers a special division to handle boats under $30,000 which caters to the entry level buyers.
The St Maarten office is located on the Dutch side of St. Maarten/St. Martin in the Simpson Bay Yacht Club, just five minutes from the airport. We typically have about 80+ boats listed at any one time, and offer clients the benfit of our duty free status. There are NO TAXES of any kind, and what a beautiful place to begin your cruise! We are also agents for UK Halsey Sails, well known for their "tape drive" performance sails. They also have very good quality Dacron sails.
The Trinidad office, in association with Dynamite Marine, offers not only brokerage, but full service yacht management including repairs, restorations, caretaking, less hurricane prone storage, and the sellers piece of mind that prospective clients have a Bay Island Yachts broker on-site to represent their boats.
We have an agent in Bequia, Alan & Meg Whitaker run the beautiful "Friendship Rose" schooner. With three fully staffed offices in the Caribbean, we offer both buyers and sellers more coverage than anyother Caribbean Broker.
